Master Plan approved for Eilat means big expansion
A significant new Master Plan for the City of Eilat. The Plan calls for construction of 14,300 homes and 5,400 hotel rooms. A collaboration of Planning Committees, an inter-ministerial steering committee and the local municipality devised the plan.
An important part of the plan is strengthening tourism in the city and preserving nature and the unique landscape. The plan encompasses infrastructure on a national scale, including border crossings, the port, a military base, an airport. a railway and industrial facilities.
